Thank you for visiting my digital abode.
This is a collection of photographs I have been blessed to make throughout my photography career.
My love of photography began back in the 70s, with my first remembrance of a camera.  My uncle "Mac" gave us a 35mm camera for Christmas.  Don't remember the brand but it really did not matter considering I knew nothing about cameras at all.  I did know that when I held that machine in my hands something magical happened.  I was not alone in knowing nothing about cameras not to mention ISO, Shutter Speed or Aperture, I just loved taking pictures.  When the film was finally developed, which was some months later, the outcome was horrible.  Photos were blurred  or too dark or too light or totally unrecognizable.  It would be many years and a few Polaroid Instamatic cameras later that my love for photography was rekindled.
After High School and a few years of work I bought my first "real camera".  It was a Minolta X700, and the Odyssey began.  Film teaches you to minimize your mistakes quickly.  After a few rolls of disaster I enrolled in a beginners photography course at our local Technical College and finally began to understand that making a photograph is completely different from taking a picture.  In making a photograph many variables are considered whereas taking a picture involves only pointing a camera and pushing the button.
Times have changed and so has photography but the core has remained the same, to capture a moment in time that can never be recaptured.
I hope you enjoy the photographs on this site.  Many will not conform the the technical rules of what makes a "good Photograph" but if all photographs did it would be a very boring art.
These photographs are life as I see it.
